One campaign I'll be following this election year is the race to the best mimosa in Austin – Sam Loves Glam's very first Champagne Campaign.

Where did Champagne Campaign originate? Unfortunately, I can't tell you. I'm not sure who coined the phrase or what genius moment they had when coming up with it, but I wish I had been the first. What I can explain is how & why I plan to keep it going.
A hashtag from an Instagram post inspired me to start my quest and continue documenting my favorite places in Austin for brunch. More specifically, my favorite places for mimosas. Because remember, brunch without a mimosa is just a sad breakfast.
Over the next few months, I'll be tasting mimosas from different restaurants across Austin, comparing and rating them based on ounces, price, brand, color consistency and ratio of champagne:OJ.
In November, I'll ultimately vote for the candidate who will give me the most bank for my hard earned buck. Just like this years' election, the winner of the Champagne Campaign will be decided by who in Austin gives the people the best bank for their drunk.
