Shopping online is like a buying a car. Wait, no it's not.

It's actually that feeling of walking into Sephora and you say "I'm just going to browse," but subconsciously know you'll be emptying your wallet & buying everything.

Tip #1 for Shopping Online

Check tagged photos on social media, Instagram for example. Anytime I shop online I think, "Yes, this looks great on the model, but I wonder how it would look on me?" One easy way to do that is to find tagged photos on social media.

Under tagged photos you can find the every day fashionista and how she styles & fits into the clothing. If you're still curious, just ask her. "How does the sizing run?" "How long did it take you to get your items?"

I don't mind sharing my shopping experience with someone's who searched & stumbled across my page. I'm sure she won't either.

What I love about NastyGal

When I wear Nasty Gal, I am fierce, fiery & ready to conquer the world. Or at least downtown Austin.

Nasty Gal is for the bold and the daring. It's for the free thinker and the girl who's fashion forward. Each piece is well-made, unique and often very daring.

Tip #2 for Shopping Online

Read & write reviews. Read, read, read the reviews that other customers write about your potential purchases. Most often it will give you a good sense of if the items are true to size, color, quality and overall satisfaction.

"Do unto others as you'd want to be done to you." It's also just as important to write a review after you've worn your purchases. Your comments will be greatly appreciated and you will be rewarded with positive energy & good juju from the Shopping Gods above. Just trust me. I believe my "luck" with LuLu's came from spreading those good deeds.

Tip #3 for Shopping Online

Know your measurements. Knowing your own measurements helps determine what size to buy online based on the measurements provided by the retailer.

For most sites you will need to know your height, weight, bust and hips to compare how you will fit compared to the model.

I even know the circumference of my head after buying a headpiece that was a bit too small (I ended up making it work by adding extra chain links).

Whipping out your tape measure at home is easier and much less stressful than trying on numerous items at the store.

Stop trying on & save your time for more shopping.

What I Love about Sabo Skirt

I've never found anything on Sabo Skirt that I wasn't 100% in love with. Just like Nasty Gal, each piece is beautifully made and one-of-a-kind.

Shopping on Sabo Skirt reminds me of Beyonce's "Single Ladies." If you like it, put a ring on it. Or at least throw it in your cart and hit "Purchase."

Buy quickly. Recently I've noticed most items sell out quickly (within 1-2 weeks, if not sooner) and are not restocked.

Luckily, if you miss out on buying one thing you've been eyeing, the chances you'll find something equally as beautiful to purchase instead when Sabo Skirt come out with new items is just as high.
